All About The Founder
My Journey to Healing
My journey into wellness was born from love, loss, and reflection. After losing my great aunt to colon cancer, a moment that deeply shifted my awareness. I began to research how food, herbs, and daily habits play a powerful role in illness prevention and long-term health.
In that search, I found myself reconnecting with a part of my childhood I hadn’t fully appreciated before: my grandmother’s soups. Whenever someone wasn’t feeling well or flu season approached, she’d head to the kitchen, preparing nourishing bowls full of fresh herbs and vegetables. At the time, it felt like comfort food. Now, I see it was medicine, holistic, intentional, and rooted in care.
My cousin and I had the honor of being her caretakers in her later years. She lived to be 96, embodying humility, strength, and natural healing. After her passing during the pandemic, I had time to sit with my thoughts, reflect, and ask myself how I wanted to carry her legacy forward.
That’s when I found herbalism.
I began experimenting with herbs, creating remedies that spoke to both physical healing and emotional connection. One of my first blends was a colon cleanse, made in honor of my great aunt and meant to raise awareness around the importance of digestive and colon health.
Since then, I’ve continued to grow and learn, blending my knowledge of herbs with my background in hospitality. With over eight years of experience in luxury wellness and customer care, I’ve developed a passion for curating experiences that are both healing and elevated. My brand, Pure Luxuria Botanics, is where that passion lives. A space that honors the beauty of healing and the sophistication of self-care.
